All our Labradors have current clear eye certificates; low hip and elbow score, and are micro chipped and DNA profiled. We have tested our dogs to minimise our breeding passing on genetic defect and identified our dogs, physically and chemically, qualifying us with the status, regulated by The Kennel Club, as Certified Accredited Breeders of Labradors.

Each Labrador is trained as a working gun dog, and on several occasions, have taken first place and gained a special dog award, at retriever tests. They complete their training working at Skipton Castle Shoot, where John shoots and has the post of treasurer. Trained dogs are occasionally available.
